Many of us have had DIY Self-Tanning disasters. Of course, to avoid such mishaps, we always recommend using a sunless tanning professional, like Infinite Glow, but if you didn't, here are some easy household products & tips to remove self-tanner.

HOW TO REMOVE SELF-TANNER
Instructions
**Tip : You should always try to fade the tan before trying to remove it by scrubbing or exfoliating. Scrubbing or exfoliating without trying to breakdown the self-tanner may cause patchiness and irritation to the skin.
1.) Smooth on mineral or baby oil and let sit on skin for about 30 minutes. Next, enjoy a long hot bath and gently exfoliate with a soft cloth, exfoliating gloves, or loofah. This will remove some of the orangey color. If your skin is sensitive to break outs you may want to try another method because mineral oil will clog your pores.
2.) Apply household white vinegar using cotton pads. Wipe it on and after a few minutes use a damp cloth to remove the excess self-tanner.
3.) Cut a lemon in half and rub on your skin where you want the self-tanner removed. Ensure that before applying the lemon juice that your skin is completely dry. Leave the lemon juice on your skin for a couple of minutes and then gently rinse with warm water. The acids in the lemon juice should be able to dissolve the spray tan from your topmost dead skin layer. After doing this make sure to apply some moisturizing lotion to your skin to hydrate it.
*You can also use lemon juice with a little sugar and olive oil to make a scrub to remove the self-tanner.
4.) Take a shower and sprinkle baking soda on one area at a time. Gently rub the baking soda with a washcloth. Pay special attention to your elbows, heels, ankles, and between your toes. This will exfoliate your body and remove the dead skin. If you use baking soda on your face, be careful around the eye area.
5.) Take extra care if it is your face that is orange or streaky. Use an exfoliating scrub designed for faces. Then rub an astringent or toner over your face with a cotton ball. An astringent with salicylic acid works best. If these do not give you a satisfactory result use a bronzer and blend carefully to hide the streaks or blotches.
6.) Soak your nail beds in Polident if the sunless tanning product has gathered around your toe or fingernails. A generic denture cleaner will work just as well.
**Try using Polident for the whole body in the bath tub and use multiple tablets – it works!!
7.) Use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to remove dark spots around wrists, ankles, feet and hands.
8.) Dab a cotton ball in some hydrogen peroxide and swab over your skin. Leave on for a couple of minutes and then pat the solution off with a dry cloth.
9.) Try using Whitening toothpaste (it must be PASTE, not gel) and scrub on the area to lessen the color.
10.) Go swimming for an hour or sit in a hot tub for 10 minutes to try to fade the tan naturally.

EVEN CELEBRITIES HAVE SELF-TANNING MISHAPS!!!
